Anamaria Marina is an Romanian actress. She made her screen debut through Sex Traffic, a Channel 4 film Sex Traffic for which she won the British Academy Television Award for Best Actress. French, German English and Romanian are the most spoken languages. Her father, who is a teacher of theatre in one of the top Romanian theatre schools, is an instructor in theatre. She was awarded the Best Female Actor of the Year 2000 Award during the young Actor Gala Mangalia. She was recognized"an European Shooting Star" by the European Film Promotion Board. She was a teacher for four years at the University of Fine Arts Music and Drama George Enescu Iasi. bAnamaria Marineca is a Romanian film actress who was born on the 1st day of April 1978 at Iasi Romania. Anamaria Marinca, an actress who is of Romanian origins was the first actress to screen in the Canadian-British television drama Sex Traffic. She won the British Academy Television Award Best actress for the role. Apart from her stellar performance in her first film she will also remember her performance of the Romanian movie "4 months, 3 weeks and 2 days" which earned her many prizes, including her the European Film Award of Best Actress from the London Film Critics. She was in 2007 the lead role in on the Romanian film 4 luni 3 weeks si2 zile (4 Months, 3 Weeks 4 Months 3 Weeks and 3 Weeks, 2 Days) 4 months 3 weeks 2 days, directed produced by Cristian Mungiu (4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days). The film received two prizes at the Cannes Film Festival (the Cinema Prize from the French National Education System & the FIPRESCI Prize). In addition, she appeared in the film of Francis Ford Coppola Youth Without Youth. She portrayed Yasim Awar in the BBC's 5 episode The Last Enemy miniseries. Marinca was a part of Oliver Hirschbiegel's Five Minutes of Heaven as well as the Romanian Drama Boogie. In the feature film Fury (2014) in which she was Irma she was the German woman, who was Emma's aunt.
