Andree Martinez

Andree is a native of Mexico born within El Paso. Has entertainment genes in her family. Her upbringing was in a family of entertainers such as her younger sister Karla Martinez, host of Univision's Despierta America (1997)). Since the age of a child, her family has been immersed in television shows such as Karla Martinez (Host of DespiertaAmerica on Univision)! Andrew Martinez is vice president of Safety Security and Business Resiliency at Southern California Edison (SCE) which is one of the biggest electric utilities across the nation. SCE has made safety of workers and corporate security a priority. Martinez is responsible for all of programs and initiatives specifically focused on the two areas. Martinez is able to provide safety professionals across the business the in the form of mentorship and programs that are effective to successfully achieve their work and safety objectives for the group. Martinez was the director of Safety Training and Compliance in Transmission & Distribution for SCE before assuming his current role. In the past, he was as director of Safety and Compliance for Power Supply and Operational Services at SCE. In his 30-year tenure at SCE Martinez has held several executive positions related to corrective action and performance improvement programs including positions at the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station (SONGS) that focused on protecting employees and the public from threats.
